Position Description

 

The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and performing related duties as required. This hands-on position requires development proficiency, systems architecture expertise, strong experience with the Microsoft technology stack, and proven competence in establishing and maintaining DevOps practices across multiple teams and CI/CD pipelines.

 

  • Automate and improve development and release processes via Azure DevOps, AWS CodeBuild, etc.
  • Maintain multiple deployment environments including Dev, Staging, Test, and Prod.
  • Support Engineering team with repository and user access requests.
  • Identify dependencies and risks that may impact releases and effectively manage them.
  • Coordinate release schedule and required resources.
  • Schedule and conduct release planning meetings.
  • Maintain documentation related to build and release procedures.
  • Make improvements in the methodologies used for configuration management.
  • Monitor and maintain environment uptime, ensuring they are available when needed.
  • Work with Information Security team to ensure platform safety and security.
Qualifications
 
  • Familiarity with .Net Framework and .Net Core (C#) development.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages including JavaScript and Python.
  • Experience with code repository management, code merge and quality checks, continuous integration, and automated deployment & management using tools like Git, Selenium, Azure Pipelines, and Azure DevOps.
  • Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CD/CI) pipelines.
  • DevOps experience with multi-disciplinary teams in an Agile environment.
  • Knowledge of traditional agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Experience supporting daily code releases.
  • Knowledge of approaches and tooling for automated software assurance and QA.
  • Experience with public/private cloud and virtualization technologies.
  • Familiarity with Linux a plus.
  • Active participant at DevOps practitioner events.
